When people who love ‘BBC shows’ complain that the BBC kill all their favourite characters/generally cause them distress and then go on to cite Sherlock, Doctor Who and Arthur I get very unreasonably angry and want to sit them down and make them watch Spooks.

They killed so many characters on Spooks they had to have a wall erected with the names of the dead. Now some people may say that was to commemorate their service to Mi5 but I’m pretty sure it’s because so many people died they just couldn’t keep track and created the wall to remember who was actually breathing still (spoiler: no one.)

So when you complain about the BBC because Sherlock fell off a building (HELLO WE ALL KNEW THAT WAS COMING AND HELLO SPOILER: HE COMES BACK LIKE JESUS) spare a moment in your hearts for all the Spooks fans who endured 10 Seasons and 13 major character deaths, OKAY.
